7 Months!

It's late, so I'm just going to post a few photos. I'll give an everything Henry update tomorrow!

Fun with a stainless steel bowl...

Friday, February 26, 2010
Henry is fascinated with the stainless steel dog dishes the pups eat out of. He will scoot himself over and over relentlessly to try to get them while the pups are eating. To try and solve this problem, we gave him a small stainless steel bowl to play with. As you can see, I played too :) Ryan gets credit for the idea! And excuse how my watermark is off. It looks lined up in photoshop and then once I get them here, it's off on the left.

One year ago today...

We found out our lives were going to be blessed with a baby boy. (the post I linked was March 1st, but I didn't blog about it until that day). I remember how much I looked forward to that day...sleepless nights, unable to concentrate at work...and here it is already a year later. Click here for the rest!

Messy baby...

Clean baby!

Target clearance = love. Thank you for the amazing duck towel, Target.

Hanging out in the crib.

Laundry, laundry, laundry.

Sunday, February 21, 2010
Sunday is usually laundry day around this house. Henry wanted to help.

This is so awesome momma!

Ok. There's just too much. I'm tired. I'll let you finish momma.

Put one foot in front of the other...

Henry's becoming a little more interested in "standing" for longer periods of time and actually took some steps with daddy's hands. If you're interested, you can see my setup for the photos I took today in this one. A bigger piece of plexi glass is on my wish list.

Inspired by Target Field

So I went and toured Target Field yesterday. OMG. AMAZING. If there is a baseball god, that is his new church. There are certain parts of that place where you would think you are in a high class, luxury hotel. not. even. kidding. Target Field got me super excited about baseball. Most know that saying I'm a huge fan is an understatement. When the Twins lost their final playoff game against the Oakland Athletics in '06, Ryan came home from class and found me laying on the floor with the homer hanky over my face. True story. There's just something about baseball that brings a certain nostalgia to it that you just don't get with other sports. And I only hope that I can raise Henry to be as big of a Twins fan as I am. I did a pretty good job converting Ryan (there were times he was more excited than me!) I am so excited we get to take Henry to this awesome place to watch games for years to come. All this excitement over baseball starting soon sprouted these photos. Enjoy! And in case you are wondering--the Mauer shirt is the one he wore in his 6 day old photo shoot (size 3 months) the Morneau is a 6/9 month that currently fits him, and the Cuddyer is a 12 month that will likely fit him when we go to our first game!

Edit: I will now be adding my watermark to my photos. A mommy photography message board I frequent highly suggests doing so on blogs just in case some body thinks it's a good idea to swipe your photos. It's a work in progress and you'll probably see it change many times.

Here are few photos I ran across when going through some folders today. I never posted these and they deserve to be posted! Also, I hope to take an amazingly creative photo tomorrow inspired by my recent trip to Target Field. More on that tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Henry and Grandpa!

Henry getting checked out by one of our two trusty, poop patrol members. They are usually quick on the job and always right.

Trying to get a little more comfortable in the swing. We're slowly graduating to taking our weekend naps in the crib.

Sporting Uncle Jake's Twins hat.

Chiquita Banana!

Henry had some mushed up banana today. He loved it! We also let him play with the bowl when he was done. Messy messy! Mushed up banana also looks a lot like slimy boogers when smeared all over the face. Here are the results in photos, as always!

Love this face!

And this one...so many expressions!

I like to make lots of noises lately!

Have you heard my dinosaur roar?!

I also poop in my high chair a lot. This is my poopy face. Thanks mom.

They finally let me play with the bowl!

Like everything else, it went in my mouth!

I'll use my fingers.

Love this one! You can tell he's smiling!

So happy!
