Quickly, 7 months.

Tuesday, May 29, 2012
I need to write this before I forget. There weren't a ton of new things before May 10th, but the biggest thing during the 6-7 month time frame was the army crawling. She started doing it around 6.5 months and by 7 months she was pretty good at it. She also was rolling around everywhere. She could practically roll into the other room!

Her nap and feeding schedule is all the same as the last update and she eats her finger foods like a champ. We've tried puffs, cherrios, breads, pancakes, french toast, scrambled eggs, noodles, bananas (her favorite!) and these baby banana crackers (she goes crazy over those).

Her personality began to shine through as she gets excited over certain things and is definitely showing preferred interests and dislikes (interests include EVERYTHING that she shouldn't have, dislikes include getting EVERYTHING that she shouldn't have taken away from her, or being moved 12 feet back from where she started in order to avoid a catastrophe).

That's all I'll post for now, as everything else flying through my head is more for the 8 month update which is coming up all too quickly. Sadly, no there isn't a full post with pictures yet ( I have a ton more than this, but my client list is LONG right now). If you're a fan of my facebook page, you saw that I have over 8,600 images to sort through (including personal stuff). That means that I've taken over 8,600 pictures since May 9th. Yikes! I'm literally squeezing this in inbetween waiting for photoshop to load my images. Fortunately, I did work on a few of these shortly after I took them.

Definitely in the all time top five favorites I've taken of Claire. LOL.

That's all I have for 7 months, I apologize. However, I do have one more thing for you before I go. Big milestone tonight: Claire ate what we ate. No baby cereal mixed with baby veggie. While she's been doing well with the finger foods, I haven't tried out a whole meal on her yet until tonight. We made chicken alfredo (with broccoli) and garlic bread. The broccoli was soft enough and I cut the noodles into little pieces that she could manage. I didn't know what to expect, and figured after a few nibbles I'd need to mix up some cereal. Here are two plates from tonight. Pictures taken after dinner was over and both kids were done. Can you guess who plate number two belongs to?

She cleaned.her.plate. While I didn't give her the same amount that you see on Henry's plate (obviously), I would say she had 2-3 pieces of chopped up broccoli, 1 piece of chicken, 1/4 of a piece of garlic bread, and about 1/4 of the amount of noodles you see on Henry's plate (maybe even a little more). Henry's plate was untouched. Except he did lick his garlic bread 1 time. I can't even begin to tell you what it means to have this girl eat what I deem to be a very acceptable amount. I went back to Henry's 7 month update and he wasn't even putting finger foods into his mouth on his own yet. At that time, apparently deli turkey meat was the only thing he was opening up for in terms of real food. Unbelievable that we've struggled with food issues since that early on.

I've got plenty more updates for you, but not nearly enough time.
